Chely's message
Tonight, as I was putting pyjamas on Kayalá and Edwin was entertaining her with a game of Ni-k'o-chi-li (Peek-a-boo in K'iche'), Chely was busily working in the kitchen. When we went in to see what she was up to, here's what we found:
which reads...
weeluvychedobixaljaadkayala
that is...
Wee
luv
ych
edo
Bixalja
ad
Kayala
(B'ixalja' is Chely's Mayan name.)
which could also be written...
We love each other,
B'ixalja' and Kayalá!
